My presentation will cover the current guidelines and practices that exist for breast cancer surveillance after TGD (transgender/gender diverse) patients undergo top surgery. Then, we will assess recent research about TGD patients' perspectives about the breast cancer surveillance process that is intertwined with their gender affirming care. The presentation will highlight areas for standardization and improvement across genetic, oncologic, and surgical departments. The presentation will end with a discussion with attendees about how they incorporate these factors into their current practices.
